The students took part in a number of activities throughout the day which had been organised by careers staff at the school. Different organisations came into school and ran interactive workshops and taster sessions.
The sessions were run by Hartpury, Royal Forest of Dean and Hereford Art Colleges, Birmingham and Reading Universities and the police. Activities ranged from building robots and sculptures to experiments in sound and animal care.
Alan Jordan, who organised the careers event, said he was pleased with how well the students had engaged with the sessions and had a chance to think about the opportunities available to them after their school career.
