Professor Ward will address the whole Sixth Form on the theme of “Why be just in an unjust world?” He is a well known academic and writer who has published a wide variety of books; notably on the relationship between Science and Religion. Most recently, he has managed to antagonise believers and non-believers alike with titles such as “What the Bible really teaches: A challenge to fundamentalists” and “Why there almost certainly is a God” a book written in response to Richard Dawkins best selling “The God Delusion.”
Nick Wardale (Head of RE at JKHS) has expressed delight at Professor Ward agreeing to visit John Kyrle , “This promises to be a first-class experience for our students and I am looking forward to some really high quality questioning and debate.”
