The school runs the Bronze Award in Year 9, the Silver award in Year 10 and the Gold Award in the Sixth Form.
Over the year, each Award Level has a programme of training walks and expeditions as preparation for the final expedition. Before a student takes part in the programme they must bring in a completed health form. This will be used to cover the year's activities. A new one will need to be completed if there are any signficant health changes. They will also need a consent form for the particular activity.
At each level, participants need to complete four sections:

Enrolment
Y9 Bronze - Most students have now enrolled and got their signing on instructions so that they can access their eDofE site. Those whose birthdays come later in the year are being signed on when they are two months short of their 14th birthday.
Y10 Silver - Students at Silver level should know if they are committed to doing all the sections. Consequently, Mr Howes wants all enrolment forms brought to him as soon as possible, along with the fee.
Y12 Gold - All enrolment forms and fees to Mr Howes as soon as possible.
The school sends your form to Herefordshire Council and you will then receive a welcome box with a user name and password. This will give access to your own area on the eDofe site where you can record your progress in each of the sections. Your welcome pack will include forms to help record activities and for assessors to sign you off at the end. All this evidence can be photographed or scanned and uploaded into your eDofE area.
